There was one more thing that I got during my bachelorette weekend that I simply cannot not blog about. It’s something that BM Maura got for me as if she is simply psychic. In the week leading up to the party, I was suddenly overtaken with an obsession for custom hangers. No idea why, but I was scouring Etsy like my life depended on it. I favorited hangers from loads of different shops with lots of different customization options, but couldn’t pull the trigger because I didn’t really know what I wanted my hanger to say.

Did I want simple and straightforward, “I do” or “bride?”

I couldn’t decide, so I put it off and decided that I’d take another look after I got back from my magical weekend in Boston. Then, as I am snuggling with BM Maura’s giant Great Dane/Black Lab mix, she brings me a gift bag. I read the card and almost tear up (like I do), then I open it to find the perfect solution. A customized hanger that couldn’t have been better if I designed it myself!

The red painted wood is a perfect match, and it was a stroke of brilliance for her to use our wedding date! I’m telling you, this girl is a mind reader! I can’t wait to hang my dress on this bad boy on the big day and I’m sure that it’ll photograph beautifully!

How great, Miss Bacon! What a creative way to avoid making the decision :). I think the date is adorable, and that way hubby won’t have an excuse if he forgets your anniversary…!

I love using the date! I’ve never seen that before! I like it because you could display it in some way after the wedding. I probably wouldn’t love the hanger that says “bride” forever, but The one with the date would always be special.
