One of the biggest trends that I love right now is hair flowers. I love all kinds of hair adornments, actually, but especially hair flowers. Preferably with some feathers or something shiny attached.

I have spent many hours on Etsy, as I’m sure many of us have, searching for the perfect hair flower.

There is this pretty little lovely… It’s got the flowers and something shiny. But at the price of $64, I kept looking.

Next up was this sassy number. Sadly, there were no feathers or shiny things, so I moved on…

Finally, I stumbled upon this beauty, and I immediately bookmarked it to save it for later.

Then, as fate would have it, I happened into Hobby Lobby on a random Tuesday afternoon and found this…

This puppy was a whole $2.99! Apparently, Hobby Lobby carries a line of hair flowers and other stuff that you can put on your own headband…or in my case, an alligator clip.

This is how it came.

So what do y’all think??? I can’t believe no one has spilled the beans on this Hobby Lobby secret yet! Or maybe they have, and I just wasn’t paying attention… Anyway, they have a pretty good selection of hair stuff; y’all should check it out!

That is a beautiful flower…and such a bargain! Good find!

I found my flower / headband at Claire’s for $9. I was getting compliments on it the entire reception.

If you want to add a little sparkle, check out the earrings at Claires-you can easily use one as a center, or break apart a cool necklace with pliers and use that. It’s Beautiful on you!

That flower is awesome! Want to make me one? Since I recently decided to change my hair, I think I’ll want some flowers in it, though I’ll probably just go with a few real ones (they don’t require any effort from me to make them!).

That’s so awesome. I think DIY is amazing and often worth it. There’s no Hobby Lobby by me right now but I’ve been dying to go there since I love browsing Michael’s already. They’re supposedly opening one nearby in several months though so I’ll definitely check it out.
