About Mrs. Macarons

Peace of Mind

September 6th, 2011 @ 1:10 pm by Mrs. Macarons

While many people were out celebrating at the beach or having barbecues the Macs were in full on wedding mode! We finalized our seating arrangements, set our rehearsal dinner menu and made very a important stop at our venue for our final walk through.

I was a little worried going into it that our ribbon curtains and other decor would be too much to set up the morning of. I went over all the details with Lesa, our venue’s coordinator and not only did she say they’d be able to take care of everything, even down to setting out foofers and separating our straws and stirs, but that I’d be able to see everything setup the day before at our rehearsal! We totally lucked out as there are no other weddings scheduled for that weekend which is why we’re able to drop our stuff off earlier in the week.

Lesa also resolved some issues I hadn’t even thought about, like providing vases for the wedding party’s bouquets and high chairs or booster seats for some of our younger guests.

Strangely enough I feel rather calm with only a few weeks to go. Are you anxious about your final walk through? What are some of your concerns?

Oh I hope our venue coordinator is as helpful, I am so nervous that she will look at my list of things to set up and tell me I am crazy. Guess I will find out Friday!

You are so lucky to get to see the venue set up before the wedding day! I’m jealous haha. I’m so glad you guys are getting that peace of mind in knowing how everything will look and having others set it up for you.

You feel calm! I want to be you when I grow up. Or at least get married where you did, ha ha!

@xtatic1: I hope things work out for you. We’re extremely fortunate that they don’t have anything else going on.
