I have written a couple of times about bridesmaids’ dresses and different options I have considered. I started off wanting to just let my girls pick out their own dresses. I often dreamed of us frolicking in the white, powdery sand in gorgeously mismatched dresses.

After a little deliberation, we decided it would just be easier if I went ahead and picked out a dress. The girls were too worried about buying the right dress, and they wanted me to be happy. Awww, aren’t they sweet??? So I set out to find the perfect dresses for my girls.

The only problem with these? They’re $310. I just couldn’t bring myself to swallow that, so I kept looking and found something equally amazing…

These dresses are Gypsy 05, and they are perfect for the beach. Wanna know the best part about it? I got them on Haute Look for $100 each! If you haven’t heard of Haute Look, you should sign up immediately. It’s seriously so awesome…but addicting.

My maid of honor will be wearing peach, and the bridesmaids will be wearing lilac (like the picture).

oh those are perfectly beachy. great choice! and i think it could be relatively easy to sash the less expensive ones too, if you wanted. the peach and lilac togoether is really nice. i don’t think i’ve seen that before!!

I love your pick and of course the $310 are nice but so are the ones you ended up getting!…. I looked on hautelook for dresses too just didn’t find anything

I too had the same vision of having my bridesmaids in mix matched dresses, each one standing out in their own style. I found out Davids bridal has different dresses in the same colors and took them there to pick their dresses. Well what do you know they all picked the same dress! Arghhh there goes my vision.

netbrides.com has great deals, it’s where I found the best prices for my bridesmaid dresses.
I love your choice of dress! It will be beautiful on the beach next to the water and your dress.

I absolutely LOVE ideeli.com sometimes they do wedding specific weeks, but they always have great stuff - again very addicting! they also have trips/experiences (honeymoon anyone?).
