About Mrs. Skunk

We make faces. A lot. Case in point?

Our family photo: This was supposed to go into our Christmas cards.

If it’s not me, it’s him.

Sometimes it’s both of us. We went as “people eaters” for Halloween last year. He was Hannibal Lecter, and I was the One-Eyed-One-Horned-Flying-Purple-People-Eater. We were getting ready to eat our best man.

Another holiday photo

Needless to say, we need a professional to tell us to shape up and make a normal face. I quickly got to work looking for a photographer. Since our venue is taking up most of our budget, we’re trying to get the most bang for our buck with everything else. I thought about hiring a student, but was worried that we’d end up with something like this. We have friends that are amazing photographers, but we wanted them to enjoy the day and not have to work. So I went looking online and found this ad.

Mrs. Scissors was offering a free engagement sesh! By the time we were engaged and I got in contact with her, though, this offer was donezo. However, she did include an e-session in her wedding packages and would I be interested? We set up a meeting, and I was really impressed with her pricing and excited to help her build a portfolio. I signed the contract and wrote the check, and I’m so glad that I did. Just take a look at these from a wedding last year!
