About Miss Petit Four

I realized that I don’t have a post about how Mr. PF popped the question. It’s only fair to give the guy some credit since he spent so much time orchestrating the whole ordeal.

It was Valentine’s Day Eve and I was getting ready to go out to a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner (or so I thought). Mr. PF told me to be ready by six because we had reservations at 6:45. He knows me well enough to give me a buffer of time to get ready.

I didn’t really have any suspicions that something fishy was going on, because when we had the marriage talk Mr. PF told me it would be at least a year so he could save up for a ring. So, I just figured it would be a nice, relaxing evening with the possibility of some ice cream at the end of the night. (Calories don’t count on holidays, remember?)

After I got ready, Mr. PF told me that I had to be blindfolded. I happily obliged, but I was secretly thinking… Ummm…did I seriously just spend an hour getting ready and now you’re gonna mess it up with a blindfold??? Anyway, after I put on the blindfold, I started to think something might be going on.

OK…let’s get to the good stuff since I don’t really know what happened while I was blindfolded. :D

Here’s how it went down.

I was shaking for about an hour after it happened.

The end…actually, the beginning. :)

How did your fiance pop the question? Was it intimate and personal, or a big affair for everyone to share?

Wait, your whole family was there? I would be so nervous getting proposed to in front of people. I may have specifically banned it the first time we talked about marriage.
