Y’all are probably going to laugh, or judge me, but that goes with the territory when “your song” is “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. Yep, Mr. PF’s and my song is that awesome ’80s number that is often made fun of, and I’m proud of it!

Let me tell you the story behind it. Our very first Valentine’s Day together, Mr. PF and I were driving to dinner and the song came on the radio, and he said, “This is how I feel about you.” From that moment on, it became our song. So far he has lived up to his statement.

So, I have a little surprise for Mr. PF.

Meet his wedding ring. See what I have inscribed there on the inside? Yep! It says “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

He is gonna absolutely love it! Also, here is the song in case you were wondering.

Haha, that is so freakin’ awesome!

We have music lyrics in our rings….one of our fav. songs is No Doubt’s “Rock Steady”. He has “a real love survives” and I have “a rock steady vibe”.

We did it together though, so it was not a surprise.

That’s so adorable! We are HUGE 80’s fans, so naturally FI and I love that song too. And he’s a little technologically challenged, so I don’t think he gets the whole joke behind the Rickroll. We don’t have any engraving on our rings, but this is a super cute idea.

his wedding band is engraved inside and out.
outside: his initials :^} my initials (the weird smiley is what we call our eskimo kiss..we started dating in the winter time and eskimo kissed a lot due to colds)
inside: You and Me, an Infinity symbol, 12-30-12

Our song is You and Me by Lifehouse. Infinity is to show our love forever, and the obvious, our wedding date.

Ring rolled? Ok, that was bad. But the engraving looks great! I’m still wondering what to put on our rings. My future husband wants to put the nerdy face emoticon from Blackberry on there. It concerns me.
