I’ve loved reading past bees’ posts in this series, so I thought I would join in on the fun.

1. When I play video games I require that my inventory be organized and I frequently log onto Mr. Ticket’s World of Warcraft account to reorganize his bags (I think I might be a tiny bit type A…)

2. When I was 11 years old I was deeply in love with Zac Hanson (as in love as a person can be at age 11 having never met the other person).

3. I love reading young adult books and watching cheesy pre-teen TV shows. Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Nine Lives of Chloe King love them all.

4. I desperately wanted to join a sorority in college, because I thought it was the only way I would make friends while living off campus and I was a bit heartbroken when I attempted to rush and none of the sororities were interested in me.

5. I’m half Chilean and the rest… everything else that is white. My mother was born in Santiago, Chile. No one believes me when I tell them I’m half Hispanic. Apparently snow white skin covered in freckles doesn’t scream Latin American?! My dad is part Irish, English, French, German, Native American… the list really goes on forever. But our last name is Irish so when people ask it’s easiest to say Irish/Chilean.

Mr. Ticket is Irish/Polish and I swear sometimes I look whiter than he is.

6. I hate my belly button. Well not so much it, but I hate touching it, I hate other people touching it or poking it (yeah, Mr. Ticket learned the hard way when he was teasing me and poked me and I started flailing and freaking out). I really genuinely can’t stand it.

You get no picture for this last one, as the very thought of someone poking my belly button has sent me into a spiral of disdain and I refuse to look up pictures of belly buttons and I absolutely won’t be posting a picture of my own.

Do you have any quirky habits/secrets similar to mine? Who was your big band crush at 11 years old?

I am addicted to cheesy pre-teen TV shows. Vampire Diaries, 90210, Pretty Little Liars, etc. I got very upset the other day when my DVR was broken and i couldn’t watch my Pretty Little Liars

I totally get the belly button thing!! I definitely thought I was the only one. Something about it just creeps me out…

And I love me some young adult books and preteen tv sows. I’m excited about the VD premiere tonight!

I’m mexican and lived in Canada 4 months on a school exchange. Most people there didn’t believe I’m latin. I had to speak spanish and show them my ID so they’ll see my frakishly looong name.

@hotchocolate - Secret Circle! Oh yeah I’m totally DVRing that sucker.

@Miss Warbler - I used to LOVE that show. It lost me after Peyton and Lucas left though.

@jo.lee - The first time I asked Mr. Ticket’s permission and he looked at me like I was COMPLETELY mental and said, “Okay I guess.” From then on I just randomly do it and he logs on his account and rolls his eyes and knows I’ve been there lol.

I don’t know if you’re a big reader, but since you play WOW and met your fiance via the game, you would really appreciate the book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. If you appreciate video games and online gaming, and have a mild nostalgia for the 80’s, it’s a great book.

Oh my goodness I HATE having my belly button touched. I hate even talking about it being touched. My fiance is not allowed to put his hand even near it, and when he does attempt to freak me out by touching it, I feel nauseated. Totally, totally get you on that one!
