Well, hive, this is it. Today’s the day. The day I become Mrs. Parasol.

It’s been nine months since Mr. Parasol got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him, six months since I bought a dress and we set a date, three and a half months since we started seriously wedding planning, and two months since I joined the hive.
This day has been almost four years in the making, and I am ready.
Family and friends have come into town from afar, my parents’ house is beautifully decorated, and my DIY flowers have finally been assembled. I am so ready for this wedding.
But most of all, I’m ready to marry Mr. Parasol. I’m ready to be his wife and for him to be my husband. I’m ready to finally move into our apartment and to really start our life together. I’m ready for forever with my forever kind of man.
To the hive: thank you so much for allowing me to share my journey with you. These past two months with the hive have been absolutely amazing, and I consider it a tremendous honor to share my experiences with you. Thank you for celebrating with me, challenging me, and helping and supporting me when I needed it most. Above all else, thank you for sharing your hearts and stories with me. You all are awesome.
To Mr. Parasol: I love you, and I’m ready to start this great adventure with you. Now let’s go get married already!

Along the way, I'm slowly learning to appreciate, perhaps even love the wedding planning process.
