Why look what arrived in the mail the other day…
My bridal jewelry! Yeah-uh! In my previous jewelry post, I raved about Dress Rush and Tejani jewelry. After going back and forth on whether or not I should buy the jewelry, I finally opened my wallet only to find that the sale had ended. No bueno. I kicked myself for not acting sooner! But ever the persistent bride, I stalked Dress Rush every day for the rest of the week. I didn’t see any jewelry that I liked as much and felt myself getting anxious. I was prepared to head over to Tejani’s website to buy the items at full price—I WANTED that jewelry. At the end of Tejani’s preview sale I got lucky. All of the jewelry was back on sale for the last day of the preview: including the bracelet and earrings that I wanted! This time I did not hesitate. Bridal bling purchased! So without further ado, my wedding-day jewelry!

Those…scrolling back up…yes, those earrings are exactly what I want! Are they clear or do they have some of the pink blue that often comes in crystal?? LOVE
They’re gorgeous and I’ll bet the wearer will look more absolutely stunning with those on. How much for all of that? I do not dare ask. Someday it will be my turn and I’ll be the one loitering around jewelry shops waiting for that sale and the pieces I like.

I love how the earrings have the oval and the teardrop shapes, and they look so good on your ears!
So, uh, my wedding is on Saturday and I still haven’t picked out my jewelry. Heading to the store on my lunch break today. Whoops!
That is some very pretty bridal bling!
My bling was a bit less blingy, since I’m not a super blingy girl and I wanted something that would fit well with our garden wedding.
I opted for necklace and earrings and skipped a bracelet- the skirt of my dress was tulle, and I was afraid of snagging.
The necklace was my “something borrowed” from my grandmother- Pearls with a yellow gold connector in the middle that had pearls and diamonds set into it.
The necklace was her 50th wedding anniversary gift from my grandfather, who passed away 5 years ago…. so it was a very fitting thing to borrow.
I recently went to China with my MBA program, and even though I was not yet officially engaged, I decided to buy a double strand pearl necklace and drop earing set–just in case. 
Hence I had my not-quite-bling figured out before my happily blingy ring had settled on my finger.

Oh my godnees. I think I just saw an ad for this exact gorgeous jewelry in The Knot magazine last night!! I am ying to get it and seriously hope I can find it on sale!!!
I saw the Dress Rush sale, but I’m not an overly blingiy gal. I’m wearing pearls and some sapphire studs the parentals bought me for my 21st birthday.
