Hey there, hive! It’s Miss Raccoon! I still can’t bee-lieve it! I promise it’s just as exciting as all the wonderful bees have said!

Mr. Raccoon and I have a little over three months until our wedding, and I am thrilled to share it all with you! We are planning a central Indiana winter wedding with an interfaith Catholic service at the church Mr. Raccoon grew up in. Following that, there will be the big three—dinner, drinks, and dancing—at a winery in town.

I attribute our relationship’s success to a great appreciation of each other’s senses of humor. That, and lasagna. Lots of lasagna. By day we study and try to make the world a little bit better. So far Mr. Raccoon has been much more successful at this task. He studies immunology and works to save endangered species of frogs. Most of the time we like staying in with simple pleasures like streaming Netflix or a riveting game of Bananagrams, but occasionally we’ll go wild and do something like go to Canada for lunch just because. I love making things and rarely step outside without some way to take pictures, so I hope you like crafts, cute couples, and seeing pictures of both.

Why Miss Raccoon? No, it’s not because of my questionable application of eye makeup. The icon reminded me of my cat Heepo and was just too sweet to pass up.
