Time to exchange rings!

Our ring ceremony was cobbled together from a few different sources. Captain Toes started with these words…

Your rings are circles: the symbol of unity, of wholeness, and of perfection. These rings remain unique and individual, yet they represent a unity that has no beginning and no end. Take these rings as a symbol of your marriage, in which two unique individuals have found a bond and a unity which shall have no ending. They are tokens of the growing relationship you have come here to celebrate and to confirm.

Captain Toes pronounced us man and wife with the power vested in him by the great state of Texas and we sealed it with a kiss!

We were married!

• I teased you with some pics in And So Our Story Begins…
• We partied downtown in Hen Night.
• The next morning, it was time to get our brunch on with a Waffle Bar.
• After that, we had rehearsal.
• The night before, I had an epiphany and rewrote my vows.
• After a restful sleep, I headed out to bridal brunch.
• My peeps and I were beautified.
• I put on my dress and took a few pics.
• The boys suit up.
• And the rain came tumblin’ down.
• My friends entertained me through the rain delay.
• Finally, it was GO TIME!
• We started the ceremony with a welcome and some readings.
• We shared our written vows.
