Hello, hive! I am absolutely giddy about BEEing a BEE!

I have momentarily stopped bouncing around the apartment to sit down at the computer and tell you a bit about the Dalmatians.

When we were two years old, we lived down the street from each other, but it wasn’t until 16 years later that we met for the first time. Our paths finally crossed on move-in day of our freshman year of college. Since that day, we have shared numerous cartons of chocolate ice cream, watched countless episodes of The Office, and fallen deeply in love.

We made it to graduation! Then we both stuck around for grad school: nursing (me) and MBA (him).

Mr. Dalmatian’s style is simple and classic. My style is ruffles and lace. We are planning a clean-cut, vintage wedding in the town where we met, where we fell in love, and where we call home: Music City, USA, AKA NashVegas, AKA NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE!

You may be wondering why I chose to go back a few generations and be Miss Dalmatian. As an avid dog lover, I just could not resist the opportunity to be an adorable little pup!

My obsessive love for dogs stems from these two award-winning canines:

This is Bailey. She is my family’s Australian shepherd who lives in Chicago with my parents. She won the cutest dog contest in the Chicago Tribune.

And this is Echo. He is a nine-pound cuddlebug that we adopted a little over a year ago. He holds the title of Best Dog at Mr. Dalmatian’s business school.

So you see, with so much puppy love in my life, I simply had to be Miss Dalmatian!

I cannot wait to share all of the joy and all of the craziness as we plan our wedding over the next seven months. It is such an honor to BEE here!
