Let’s Get Some Shoes!

October 7th, 2011 @ 12:27 pm by Miss Aardvark

Hive, I have a very exciting wedding event coming up in a few weeks. (You will hear all about it—don’t fret!) So, you all know what that means! I will get to wear my non-wedding bridal shoes!! As luck will have it, the shoes have arrived! Would you like a little peeky-pie?

The BOX! Oooh, look at the hearts! (I think it means I will luv them.)

MY PRETTIES!

Please forgive my naked toes. I have not had a chance to paint them as I have been mountain biking in the woods all week.

Look at the pretty gold pops. I hadn’t noticed those online.

Strut and turn. Sorry about the gross bruises. I made friends with some rocks.

I am so pleased with these. I am can totally see why I am not the only one choosing them as part of my wedding.

Now, the real question: should I keep the little gold tie or start the hunt for a colored ribbon or some other cutesy tie?

PS: I knew I had become a real blogger when I took pictures before opening the box and while opening the box. For someone as impatient as me, this is a HUGE step.

I would switch the gold out for a colored ribbon…something that matches your color scheme or maybe blue….for your something blue??
I love the shoes tho…wish I could handle wearing shoes like that! :(

Love! Mine actually have silver accents instead of gold, though. I didn’t know there were different ones! And, I wish I would have changed out my ribbons- I had pink ribbon in my purse the day of the wedding but totally forgot to change them out. That’s what I get for waiting until the last minute!

@Mrs. Cannon, I think the white ones have the silver and the ivory have gold. I will have to be sure to change my ribbons as soon as I find ones I like! Also yours looked SO cute with your dress… can’t wait to see more of your pics.

Hi there,

I am writing an article on ‘wedding shoes’ for a university assignment. I am writing about the search for the perfect pair. I really liked your shoe posts and wondered if I could quote some of your posts or use them as an example to show how important finding the perfect pair of shoes for your wedding day is. I am not wanting to use photos and I can leave your name anonymous if you would prefer.

Thanks,

Sarah

I think the gold would be nice, but if you like, I think something like fushia or purple would be better for a pure white shoe, and it will make your shoes more stunning~ Or, just like the other said, you could choose the ribbon according to your wedding theme or main color, that would be awesome.
PS: I love your shoes, they look so gorgeous on you!

Sooo pretty! I think you should change the ribbon for each event, but I like to be difficult like that :)

Sassy! They look like they have a heck of an arch! I think I’d be changing the color of the ribbon every time I wore them! ha ha

These are so much fun! I’m kind of in love now and think I need my own pair. :)
