Picking out shoes for your wedding in the past always meant white heels.

But then I started thinking of flats. They’re cute and they greatly reduce the chance of face plants and sprained ankles.

Have you checked out TOMS for your wedding shoes? You could even help somebody else out while scoring great shoes! A lot of people know about TOMS now, but for every pair of shoes you buy, another pair is donated to a child who needs shoes.

But then I saw the beauty of wearing colored shoes, so I started to gather ideas looking at places like 6pm Shoes, Zappos, and DSW.

It was there in the 7.5 sized clearance racks of DSW Shoes that my feet suddenly wanted to start singing “You Are So Beautiful” Little Rascals-style.

Between the sale price and birthday certificate I got from DSW, I only spent about $17 on them.

I’m a huge fan of either having blue shoes, or white shoes with blue soles - but I LOVE the purple. I was thinking about doing hot pink since pink is my favorite color, but not exactly a fall wedding friendly color (plus my fiance said no pink ). A friend of mine just recently wore the silver sparkly toms for her wedding and bought all the maids a pair too!I thought that was really neat!

I am all about wearing fun, colorful shoes at the wedding!

but I really don’t like the idea of TOMS with wedding dresses. I’ve always hated their shoes, I think it looks like people wrapped bandages around their feet. it’s nice to know they donate shoes to the less fortunate though.

Great find with the shoes! They will definitely pop with your wedding dress!

I HAVE THE SAME SHOES FOR MY WEDDING!!! Yay, I love them!

I also got them at DSW, but sadly paid around $40 for my size 10 pair. Of course, they are reason we went with purple for a wedding color and pretty much, our entire day has been planned around it, but I love love love them

My favorite trend now is sparkles. I am not a bling type girl at all, but the idea of Cinderella shoes for one day makes me warm and happy throughout my body!
