I love hearing about the rehearsal dinner! Mr. Raccoon’s family offered to be in charge of ours, and it sounds amazing!
First, I’ll tell you about some of the places that were almost chosen.
Zydeco’s 5:

This place is so much fun! It serves Cajun and Southern food, has live music, and is always decorated for Mardi Gras. I’ve been there a few times with Mr. Raccoon’s family and liked that we would be able to share one of their favorite places with our close friends and family. The only thing that was making me really nervous was that they serve so much seafood there. My mother and I have shellfish allergies, and there were a ton of nightmares relating to emergency-room visits the night before the wedding. Eek!
Next up, The Coachman:

The Coachman is close to the church and within walking distance from the hotels where guests will be staying. So why are we not at this perfect location? They said they were unable reserve that far in advance. The search continued!

We have a winner! I challenge someone to go there and not leave happy. They serve some fantastic things and the building is stuffed full of fiesta bunting. Extra perk—they have a side room that is the perfect size for a rehearsal dinner!

Has anyone else had allergies interfere with their plans? Where will your rehearsal dinner be?
My mom and my dietary intolerance (not quite allergies but it’s a really bad idea for us to eat certain foods) dictated what was offered but The Lonesome Dove was awesome about accommodating (Goat Cheese Cheesecake instead of cow’s milk? Yes please!)
Despite having the rehearsal 2 days before the wedding- I still was up the night of the wedding huddled in the bathroom from stomach issues. (I would suggest stocking up on pepto on the off chance you get butterflies)
I love the idea of a fiesta rehearsal dinner-how fun! My brother in law had his rehearsal at Zydeco’s and it was great, but I totally understand the shellfish concerns. We’re having ours at Plum’s Upper Room in Zionsville… any Indy-area brides looking for an intimate location with gourmet food, I would definitely recommend it! Have a great time at your fiesta! 
No dietary restrictions, just a big hankering for Mexican food now
My Mom and I have shellfish allergies like woah & my FI family is insisting that we have it at a seafish resturant. I almost want to boycott my own rehearsal dinner.

What a cute rehearsal invitation! I am thinking about stealing that idea for a dinner party.
We had barbeque in the backyard. It was fabulous! Very low key, just what we wanted.
