About Mrs. Skunk

Several weeks ago, I got a beautiful invitation in the mail. It was to my very own bachelorette weekend! BM C. Bear totally outdid herself (and even put our wedding invites to shame!). The first card described that Friday night would include a movies and lingerie shower. Saturday, we would tour a few north Georgia wineries and then head back to the cabin for dinner and a kitchen shower, and Sunday, we would shop ’til we dropped at the North Georgia Outlets.

Friday night was soooo much fun. I had come down with some seriously yucky sinus infection, so naturally, I started downing some whiskey. Everyone got in on some drink of their choice and pretty soon we were a giggly bunch. We played Loaded Questions (Bridal Edition, thanks to BM C. Bear) and opened gifts. I got lots of frilly things that I won’t post on the interwebs, BUT there was one gift that had me cracking up. For the record, this is a terrible picture of me, but I just had to show off what BM C. Koala said was, “really the only thing you’ll need to be wearing anyways.”

Gold Platform Nine West Heels…Best idea ever or what?!?

Saturday morning I bounded out of bed around seven in the morning. What?! I’m used to getting up at 4AM to get to the bakery, so this was sleeping in. My sinus infection was magically cured. I think it may have had something to do with the almost half bottle of whiskey that was missing. Once everyone else was roused, we headed to Three Sisters and then Frogtown.

At Three Sisters, we arrived just in time for barbecue lunch and a bluegrass band. It couldn’t have been more perfect and relaxing!

All of my loverly ladies!

And I of course found something to climb and make stupid faces on.

It was a perfect time. I had lots of belly aching laughs and loved spending time with all my girlfriends. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you ladies!!!

I am of the opinion that good strong alcohol can kill all germs, so I think whiskey was the perfect treatment. ;)
