I can’t believe I’m a bee!I’m sorry the title is not more adorable or filled with puns, but I am not capable of rational thought at the moment. An insane amount of exclamation points will have to do for now.
Anyway, on to introductions!

I am Miss Elk, your newest bee buzzing in to say hello!

Why Miss Elk? Well he is just so darn adorable, and he kind of looks like my pooch (if my pooch had antlers, that is!).

(PS: I was sorely tempted to be Miss Boa Constrictor, if only to be able to make Slytherin references…but I thought I’d spare you.)

But who am I, really? By day, I am an over-stressed medical student, finishing my last year of school before a pediatrics residency. By night I am a wedding-obsessed, dog-loving, couch potato who watches every television show meant for teenagers available (AKA every show on ABC Family). Mr. Elk is my partner in crime, and we have been together for almost seven years! Together, we enjoy eating out (a little too often), traveling the globe, disagreeing about what does and does not go in the fridge, and playing with our two-year-old pooch! We are planning a romantic wedding, filled with DIY details, and a secular ceremony infused with Irish and Jewish cultural traditions. Oh, and did I mention I graduate a week before the wedding?
