After Zeb and I were finished taking family portraits we sent everyone but our bridal party over to The Biltmore to enjoy a little down time before cocktail hour began. We had a two hour Catholic gap, as most like to call it.
We took a few formal pictures in the church courtyard but as you’ve probably already noticed, we aren’t a formal photo kind of couple. Besides, it was getting pretty windy and we were ready for our next destination.
Huddling in close for warmth. It was getting pretty cold and windy at this time.
This is where we began our walk through Providence to get to our super secret location. I love this photo. It reminds me of an American Eagle catalogue without all the overpriced cotton clothing.
I had thrown out the idea of an Abbey Road photo with the wedding party. We had quite a large party, 17 including us. There was no way we were getting everyone in the photo. It started out pretty strong… and then my brother broke out the gangsta walk. The Abbey Road portion of our wedding video is my most favorite part. I wish I could show you how absolutely priceless the decomposition is in moving film. It’s these moments, the planned gone awry, that make any wedding day completely memorable.

I adore the colors in this photo.
Huddling for warmth… we were really starting to freeze at this point. Thank goodness for those pashminas!
Next up, our super secret location…
