After nearly freezing during the group photos, Zeb and I wanted to thank our bridal party for being the best ever. We directed our friends right into Trinity Brew House, a Providence staple. It was there we were able to settle down for just a minute and share a quiet drink with some of our favorite friends and family members. Well, as quiet as 17 people can be.
To toast to finally being husband and wife.
To kiss in the same city we had our first date in exactly 9 years before.
To keep it classy.
To get a little lubed up.
To avoid that pesky Blue Moose.
To just be for a moment.
Sometimes we get lost in the schedule of our wedding day. We must take pictures, we only have an hour. Pose this way, look that way, smile. We must cut the cake at exactly this time. Sometimes we forget to schedule just a few minutes to reflect. You need a little time to enjoy being newly married. Sometimes you just need to warm up with a good brew.
It wasn’t easy coordinating the equipment exchange between the church and reception with our photographer and videographer but I am so thankful that they each went the extra mile to make this moment happen for us. The stop at the bar and walk from church to reception really threw a wrench in the flow of it all but in the end we made it work together. We were one lucky couple to be able to work with such wonderful vendors.
