(’Ferien’ is ’holiday’ in German!)

Hello hive! I have missed you guys so much, but we’re only on day five of our nineteen day honeymoon so it’ll be awhile before I can get back to blogging regularly. Mr. Funnel Cake’s Swiss keyboard on his netbook is not really helping out the situation either as I keep switching ’y’ with ’z’ and pressing random buttons. But I really wanted to share the sneak peek our photographer gave us on our wedding day! I think it paid off scheduling some down time for the photographer between our wedding and evening shoot because he had time to edit a photo and whip it up on the web already!

Our wedding was the best wedding ever.

Or at least it was according to my family and even my opinionated brothers. It was seriously amazing and I cannot wait to share more of it with you! Tons of things went wrong like they always do, but so many things were amazingly right and everything was truly perfect. I wouldn’t change any of it one bit.

I also wanted to thank you hive, for being there in spirit with us on the wedding day (courtesy of the bee charms!) Your words of encouragement, suggestions, advice and sharing of excitement during the planning process meant more than you will know. I didn’t have a lot of local female friends to “bride on” and I think you all really helped save Mr. Funnel Cake’s sanity during the planning. Thank you all for writing and sharing your thoughts and ideas!

So now… it’s time for me to return to my Hawaiian honeymoon. Mr. Funnel Cake is trying to figure out how an American washing machine works and I think he needs my help… more later!
