Well, there isn’t much to say about this post. It’s PICTURES! OF US! You’re excited, I know it.
We sent our bridal party back to The Biltmore via the limo so that they could enjoy cocktail hour a little bit. We took a little stroll through the beautiful and vibrant streets of Providence.
The pashmina was not a planned accessory of the day. It was just so cold I couldn’t bear to take it off. I have to admit, I don’t hate the look.
It’s mine now. I can squeeze it if I want!
The way the train falls in this picture is so dreamy. It is one of those amazing fabric folds I could only hope to draw in design school.
At 4PM people weren’t too friendly in Providence. I expected a few more “Congrats!” or even a few “Don’t do its!” However, we were just lucky the car in this picture didn’t run us over as we were taking this picture. He couldn’t even wait for us to run back to the sidewalk before driving through the intersection. Don’t feel bad for us though, at 3AM the people of Providence are much more friendly.
We finished taking our portraits early enough to be able to catch 20 minutes of our cocktail hour. High fives were definitely in order.
We were thoroughly frozen at this point. I’ve never been so happy to take my heels off and that is quite a feat if you know me and my heels. Those Toms felt delightful to slip on once we warmed up a bit.
