I Have a New Boyfriend…

And his name is Dusty. Dusty Miller.

Looking at this picture, I’m not sure why I love this plant. There is nothing particularly appealing about it when it is all alone. BUT…add in some gorgeous peonies and a few garden roses, and my heart starts pitter pattering out of my chest!

Just look at this gorgeous bout! Beautiful white pairs amazingly with the frosty feel of the dusty miller—perfect for a winter affair!

And look at how amazing it looks with the pops of color in this next bouquet! AH, GORGEOUS.

And last but not least, paired with romantic blush tones for a soft, feminine effect. Le sighhhh.

I never really thought I would care all that much about greenery in my bouquets and centerpieces, but now that I know “Dusty” there is no going back! He MUST be everywhere.

Did you fall in love with an unexpected minor detail? And what are your thoughts on Dusty: love him or leave him?

Love it! Especially for a fall, winter or early spring wedding. I honestly have not given much thought to the “greenery” that will be included in my bouquet, but these examples are so lovely!

I love the color of that plant! It’s such a softer green than most other “greenery.”

I have always loved this plant. Growing up they were a permanet staple in my mothers garder. I love that they are greenery without being in your face leafy. I love the fact their feel soft too.

I’m digging hypericum berries. They add a really unique texture to a rose bouquet.

Ooh, it’s so soft and pretty! I never considered greenery because I was DIYing and had NO clue what to do with it, but I love this!! I hope you can work it in!

This looks so lovely. I’ve been looking for winter greenery to put into my floral arrangements. I wonder if my florist can get this…
