It was finally time to party! I always love when the couples enter their reception. The songs they chose, the smiles, the energy—oh it gets me giddy inside just thinking about the wonderful that is the couple’s first introduction. We lined up behind the big ballroom doors while butterflies quickly fluttered in our stomachs. Zeb and I had just enough time to jump into the photo booth for a quick picture before it was our turn to enter. Lucky we did too, otherwise we would have never stepped foot into the photo booth we were so excited to have. Our guests fully enjoyed it but we were just too caught up to remember.
Speaking of remembrance…remember when I told you we had to bribe my nephews to walk down the church aisle? Well well well, now you know what we bribed them with. It’s top secret information so don’t tell anyone—Spiderman and Batman are actually my nephews.
The kids entered into the reception to Katy Perry’s Firework. I always get so teary eyes listening to that song.

Our parents and grandmothers entered to Earth Wind & Fire’s September, my mother’s official theme song.

Well what can I say about our bridal party that isn’t completely summed up by the title of this song?
They plotted and planned their entrance routines. I originally wanted everyone to do the Thriller as an entrance but it was one of those wedding tasks that ended up on the F-it list. I just didn’t have enough time or energy to teach everyone the dance. Remember, if you cut something off your to-do list, something equally as awesome might just spontaneously take its place.
Bridesmaid Happy, 5 months pregnant jumped into the arms of someone who is definitely nothing but a good time—now that’s wedication folks.
Dance Pants and Al Pal Blue Moosed each other right there on the dance floor.
Cakes trusted my brother with her life.
Sissy and her hubs went in for a big old smooch.
Spiffy and my brother played leap frog.
…and Britt-britt almost lost her head on the shoulders of my two boyfriends.
Then it was time for our introduction. The music changed and our photographer snapped this picture of everyone’s reaction to the music. This is one of my favorite pictures of the entire day.

Let’s start this party with a little air guitar! …and more cowbell. Have I mentioned that we are two of the cheesiest sons of guns you ever did meet?
