I’ve spoken a lot about the homemade wedding pie in previous posts, and as I don’t want you to think I’m totally obsessed with pie (although it’s kinda true) I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves in this post.

Mmmm, this all looks so yummy! I’m craving some serious pie right now. I may have to have a slice of the pumpkin pie sitting in my fridge right now.

I love pie so much!! I think we’re planning on doing both…even thinking about putting a pie or cake check box on our invites instead of the normal chicken or beef!

omg girl… get out of my head!!

I have wanted pie at my wedding all the way to the cake store! let me explain…
short and sweet…we went to a cake place, hated it, and thought why not pie!? we LOVE pie!

so pie it is! I haven’t seen anyones photos of their wedding die cutting and eating the pie and thats where all the mother-in-law2b questions have occurred. I love that you went with pie and I will be doing the same How did it go over with your guests?

Okay, now I’m hungry…and pie is not on my wedding dress slim down plan from hell, boooo! But we have talked about adding pie too, to our cupcake display. Seeing all the pie posts helps me lean more in that directions.

@MaggieL: That checkbox idea is so cute! Way better choices than chicken/beef!
@Jessoverall: The guests all loved it! We had the chocolate tart if people wanted a less fruity dessert, and ice cream for those who can’t have pie without that. I made the pies so I made sure they all had tapioca or cornstarch in them so they weren’t too sloppy and juicy - you can see how this helped us pick up a full slice of pie and feed it to each other.

I’m so excited to see someone else’s pie cutting! That has been the only request that my fiance has made - he wants pie at our wedding. I think we’re less adventurous though - a bakery can supply our pie.

Your mom’s tart looks AMAZING. I want the recipe!

Mmmm… Pie! I love Pie and Pastries. Lemon is my favorite. I so much wanted to have a “dessert table” not a Cake. But my traditional To Be wouldn’t hear of if. So Four Tier Groom’s Cake it is! And then the Brides Pie for me and some Baklava just because.
Its Love! Pie all the way.
