Update: Matchy Be Gone!

November 23rd, 2011 @ 2:17 pm by Miss Elk

Well, I can officially say that my bridesmaids will be full on mismatched, and I couldn’t be more excited!!! Want to see the final color combination?

Update: Matchy Be Gone! : wedding bridesmaid dress long island Finaly Dresses via Bari Jay/ Poor Photoshopping by moi

And yes, my bridesmaids thought I was absolutely bonkers when I sent them this picture with their faces terribly cropped onto their chosen shade. I accept that I am in fact crazy—moving on!

Of course my beautiful petal pink option was shunned by my maids. :( But do not fret, for it will be making an appearance in the ceremony as they walk down the aisle (*cough* bouquets *cough*), so I guess they won’t be COMPLETELY mismatched…hmmmm, should I do mismatched bouquets too?! I think I am getting a little out of control with this mismatched idea!

What do you think—mismatch everything including the bouquets or keep something cohesive to bridge all the varied styles and colors?

I love it! I would keep the bouquets the same for all the bridesmaids, it will pull everything together. Maybe same shoes too? Or at least the same colors.

LOVE the colors! They are the perfect balance of subtle but not too muted. Great choices :)

I’d do the same bouquets for all the girls but maybe you could do a bunch of different colors so they won’t end up exactly the same.

First of all, I think they’re going to look great! I love mis-matched bridesmaids.

I think the same, simple bouquet for all will look fantastic.

Love all of these! Your girls will look fabulous. And I’m with others–I think they should all have the same bouquet. It’ll look amazing, and you’ll save yourself a gigantic headache!

I think the bouquets should be the same, and somewhat simple so that the wedding party doesn’t look like a bunch of girls in pretty dresses just happened to show up to the same wedding!

One bouquet for all the dresses. And that petal color will be so purdy!

I wanted mis-matched dresses for my maids too! But they thought there were too many of them to be mismatched. I wish I could go back in time and show them this post. Your girls will look lovely with their **cough*** bouquets **cough**
