Friday morning started bright and early. At about 7:30 AM, I knew there was no point in trying to get any more sleep, so I crossed over to the opposite side of the house and hopped in between my two bridesmaids who were fast asleep. Luckily, they awoke in good spirits and we decided to take a morning stroll through the gardens. The house we were staying at is on the property of Clark Gardens, and is about a two minute walk from the front door of the house into the main part of the gardens.

We arrived at the gardens and everything was dewy and fresh. It was so beautiful and quiet. The walk lasted well over an hour as we chatted, explored, and even found a sweet hideaway spot on the top of a huge hill that overlooked a big expanse and the highway.

Those two girls hold a really special place in my heart. The three of us were inseparable during our last year of college, and it had been a long time since it was just the three of us hanging out. Naturally, it was like no time had passed at all.

After our walk, we came back and I began to prepare for the bridal luncheon.

And more of the bridal party and family started to trickle in! Here are Bridesmaid Lisa and Groomsman Jerrad (celebrating their 1 year anniversary this month!).

And Cousin Angi got to work on everyone’s nails. This woman deserves the biggest shoot out. She spent so much time working on everyone’s nails throughout the weekend. I am so thankful for her patience and talents!

The whole group actually hung out outside at the huge patio table. The weather was sunny and perfect. It was a wonderful time!

Mr. HW and the rest of the guys had a fun afternoon at a local bowling alley and then picked up a few odds and ends we needed for the following day.
