After our yoga class, we had a little tea and breakfast.

Some of the girls got started on hair.

I have to give a shout out to our wonderful hairstylist. She was moving across the pond to her fiancé in London that Wednesday and was spending her last free Saturday doing hair for our entire wedding party. I am so thankful for her!

Meanwhile Cousin Angi was STILL stuck doing people’s nails (she had started the day before at lunch time. She was such a trooper!

We had a big wide bathroom at the house which made it easy to all get ready together.

The boys were hard at work setting things up at the ceremony site and the reception tent.

First, they set up our Huppah, or Jewish wedding canopy. The wood came from cedar trees on Mr. HW’s parents’ land out in West Texas! I’m so glad that a piece of their home was with us on the wedding day.

My wonderful friend Kathy agreed to videotape the wedding for us, so BM Sara brought her camera and helped set up the tripod.

Then the boys moved over to the reception tent, and spent most of the time hanging up paper lanterns.

Paper lanterns and kegs. It is definitely a party now!

Meanwhile, back at the house, I didn’t have to lift a finger the whole day (hell, the whole WEEKEND if we are being real here).

That plate of food in the picture above? BM Rivae prepared it and brought it to me. I didn’t even have to get up. It was insanity. I am so blessed with the people in my life. I had no idea that I would put all this effort into creating the wedding day, and then my wonderful friends and family would insist I do nothing but just enjoy it. What a blessing. Really.
