First off, thank you so much for your kind words and awesome suggestions on my last post about thank you notes!
Let’s continue with those recaps.
In the early afternoon, our wonderful wedding planner, Shelley, arrived! She stopped by the house to touch base with me and then headed off with her assistant to get started setting up at the venue. It was so nice having her there to take care of all the little details. I had collected so many little knick knacks over time, and I knew she’d use her creativity to get everything set up in a cute and creative way. And she didn’t disappoint! Between her and the rest of the guys, they took care of everything.
And then our wonderful photographer, Joy, and her assistant for the day, Lora, had arrived!

Joy walked in the door with a smile on her face and a camera in her hands and started snapping away immediately. She means business!

She took some great shots around the house

I’m glad she was able to capture some of the many eclectic decor pieces around the house

As a last minute project, I grabbed some hangers and wrote each girl’s name on them with a silver paint pen. And I also made one for myself.

She caught us just as we were finishing our primping for the day.

Some of us did our own makeup, and my aunt also jumped in to help a few girls out. She’s an expert!
My MIL was looking super snazzy!!

Jessica finished up my hair. I’m so happy with how it turned out. She was a late addition to our wedding ‘team’ and I am so happy to have had her there.

I put on the final touches of my outfit before I slipped on my dress.

As soon as we finished with our hair and makeup, we grabbed some shots in our robes.

Getting ready without seeing Mr. HW was really easy. The layout of the house was set-up with two separate wings of the house that even had their own stair cases. So we didn’t have to worry about running into each other at all for the whole day.
While Joy was snapping away at us girls, Lora went over to the other side of the house to catch the boys.

Mr. HW, his brother, and his dad

Mr. HW inherited that right hand right from my late grandfather.
Everything was coming together. All the preparations were coming to an end and the main event was slated to begin in a couple of short hours. But first, I had to get dressed!
What emotions were you experiencing right before the wedding ceremony?
