Mrs. Turkey, Philadelphia Age and Occupation: 29, Brand Management Fiance's Age and Occupation: 28, Consultant Engagement Date: February 2011 Wedding Date: May 2012 Venue: The Rittenhouse Hotel About Me: I'm a marketer who loves a good glass of wine, anything pumpkin-flavored, every crime drama on TV and, of course, Mr. Turkey. It's funny to say out loud, but we're former coworkers turned betrothed---now planning a wedding in the city of Brotherly Love. For three years, we've been eating our way through Philadelphia, playing tourist at home, and cheering for every sports team in the 215. Although we've hit some unplanned snags along the way, we're determined to have a rocking party this spring with our loud, fun families and friends.

How to Save the Date? Part IV

December 21st, 2011 @ 2:05 pm by Mrs. Turkey

If you missed anything, here are links to Part I, Part II, and Part III.

As you saw, we had five top choices from our engagement session for the photo on our save the date…so which one did we choose?

They’re HEREEEEEE. Seriously, when I picked up this bag I was giddy with excitement.

In the bag was the final product. Drum roll, please…

Our save the date!

Oh wait—there’s another!!

Yup—we were full of indecision and ended up with TWO versions of our save the dates. One of the photos was my favorite, one was his. Gotta make compromises—preparing for marriage!

Since the envelopes were already addressed, it was just a matter of stuffing, licking, and sending!

Envelopes are stuffed…time to seal them shut!

Ready to get out the door!

Were you excited to send out your save the dates??

Sending out the save the dates makes it feel that much more real, doesn’t it! There are no take backs once those puppies go out.

I love the liners! Wait, I love it all! I was so excited to still our STD’s in the mail. Now it’s all about getting the invites out. Le sigh.

@skitelluride86@aol.com: I was able to find the site after seeing the tag on one of your pictures. However, I could not find the cost of how it costs to do STD’s. If you don’t mind me asking how much did it cost you per card/envelope.

@skitelluride86@aol.com: Since everything really varies (by size, photo / no photo, etc), I’d recommend you reach out to Two Paperdolls. That way you can get a real estimated based on what you’re planning! Here’s a link to their contact page: http://twopaperdolls.com/home/contact/

I can’t possibly recommend them enough!!
