Look what we got on Wednesday!
Well, you can’t see it all that well, but we went to the Daley Center in downtown Chicago and picked up our marriage license!
Mr. Ball Cap’s family and my parents all met downtown, and after we received our license, the group walked through the Christkindlmarket and checked out the tree inside of Macy’s.
We had a nice meal at the Italian Village and talked about the upcoming big day. With only ten days left, it was nice to get out and do something fun and spend time together as a family.
That’s right—only 10 days to go! I hope to get a couple of more posts in about a few last minute projects and finally show you my completed bouquet!
I’m getting nervous and excited and can’t wait for the actual day to get here. Still on snow watch, although it doesn’t look promising.

I love that you made getting the license a big fun event, we just ran down to the clerks office and picked it up last Friday. Not very romantic, especially when I left my wallet at home (with my ID) and we had to go back home and get it. Oops!
I have to agree with Canon, I’m struggling with holidays and wedding and mine is not in the middle of the holidays, you rock sunhat! And YAY 10 days, can’t wait to see your pictures!
