Searching for bridesmaids’ gifts was one of the hardest tasks I have yet to come across while planning this dang wedding. I needed to find something that was small enough for me to take to Mexico and something the girls wouldn’t mind lugging back to the states.
I liked the idea of getting them jewelry and I probably still will get them each a nice necklace or something, but I wanted to do something a little different. (I promise, this is cool! Keep reading.)

I found this awesome service called Birchbox that sends out different beauty samples every month right to your door.
I thought it would be really fun to get a 3-month subscription for each girl; that way they could get to try new makeup and also have a package to look forward to every month! Who doesn’t love getting packages?? Especially when it’s not something you ordered yourself. For me, it’s like Christmas when I see a package sitting on my doorstep.
So what do y’all think? Would you like to receive a BM gift like this? DW brides, what are you gifting your bridesmaids?
I would love it. It takes the guessing out of gifts as these boxes are supposed to appeal to a wide range of people. And it is lovely to get a package every month.
My only thing is what do they get on the day? Or, would their boxes have arrived by then?

Great idea! I love my birchbox subscription (I’ve had it since the summer) it’s so fun to get a box of different makeup items every month 
I have birchbox now, and I love it. Def a great gift- I’d maybe get like, a little make up case or something and put a picture of the birchbox stuff in there, so they have something to open. Plus cute makeup bags are cheap and don’t take up a lot of room

@charlii.rouge: they don’t get it until a month after you subscribe. It is similar to a magazine subscription. I was gifted a subscription for Christmas and you get a paper that says “You have been gifted BirchBox” so she could just cut that out and put it on decorative paper.
This is a great idea! My bridesmaids will love this, and of course, one less thing to pack for the DW

LOVE Birchbox! I found out about it after I’d spent a good chunk on each girl so I didn’t go with it but one of my girlfriends that’s getting married in July is. It’s a great gift!
This is a great gift idea. I personally love it! However, my only concern is what if some of the girls aren’t that into make-up? Would it still be a cool gift?

What a fun idea! I have one ‘maid who’s not a makeup or skin care person at all, but if all your ladies are I’m sure they’ll love this! I know I would.
@charlii.rouge: I think there’s an option to recieve the first box yourself so you can give it to them in person, and then Birchbox will send the remaining ones to their address.
I’m doing this, too! I asked for a subscription for Christmas to see if it was all it’s cracked up to be. It is! They send all sorts of beauty products, perfume, health products, etc. And it comes in such a cute little package, which makes it even more exciting to see in the mailbox every month.
I’m glad y’all think they will like it! I also plan on getting them some jewelry for the big day so they will have something fun to open that day too
