…of an inspiration board was not on Pinterest or any other website. Because our unengagement started awhile back, these types of tools weren’t quite widespread yet…

I started by saving pictures from blogs and internet searches. Some of these were supplemented with personal images. After running ideas by Sweetie Scone and getting input, I would delete images that were no longer in the running. A few weeks before our first face-to-face meetings with our DOC and florist, we tried figuring out the best way to share these images. Our solution was a PowerPoint presentation. This could have been a repercussion of being in graduate school. In any event, we put together a short PowerPoint and emailed it out to those helping to plan the wedding.

Whenever possible, I tried to locate pictures in the spaces we were planning to use or were interested in using. Inspiration photos were certainly harder to manage just a couple of years ago! Here’s a sneak peek into my type A-ness:
