Heaven on Earth.

It’s that cherished place where our eyes are shining, faces beaming, loved ones cheer and everything looks—and feels—so breathtaking.

Our hearts are the fullest of the full, we’re floating in bliss and we wish and hope and pray to stay in this perfect place and call it home.

And so we tuck this memory safely in our hearts, reliving its sparkling moments whenever we can.

We all have our own, all different, but that feeling? Oh bees, that’s what connects us together…

It’s our dreamy, unforgettable place.

And today, I (finally!!!) will share with you mine.

It’s a place where the breeze is warm and the air smells sweet.

The sun sets in a lavender sky…and I can hear the waves break in my sleep.

No boots allowed! Only sandals, flip flops and bare feet.

It’s filled to the brim with the faces that we love.

The littlests sprinkle us with blooms and smiles…

While I follow them blissfully along the sea…

Until…at last…my other half of my heart finds me.

We cheer {like crazy people!}

And cheer a little more.

With mojitos, Korean BBQ and clambakes galore.

The most ridiculous sweets you’ll ever meet.

While the majestic surf never misses a beat.

Fresh lavender falls alongside the sprinkling sky…

While we sway…

and DANCE!

With our hearts to the sky.

Consider this the beginning of my recaps. And, just like that, BOOM! - photo explosion. Ahh, I couldn’t help myself with these photos, all so random, but each makes my heart soar and twirl and cartwheel. And they represent some of the most fantastic pieces of that AWESOME day. That’s what recaps are, right?

And since a really awesome picture is worth a million words, we’re going to let Max’s sublime photos take the wheel for this wild recap ride. And I’ll pepper them with our silly, heart-string pulling and pinch-me-i’m-dreaming thoughts in between.
