When my dear friend Mrs. Penguin asked me to write up a little fashion post for WB—first, I was totally delighted. Second, I wanted to show off some bridal fashion that isn’t a bazillion dollars. Don’t get me wrong, I (reallllly) love a couture gown just as much as the next girl. But the reality is that most gals are on a budget. With the average wedding budget in the upper $20Ks, that leaves under/around $2,000 for a dress. Enter Watters (or Wtoo, of course). With dresses that are around that price point or below, a bride can slip into a gown that has gorgeous and fashionable written all over it and stay within her budget. Thank goodness! All right…enough gushing about why I’m a fan. Here are three of my favorite dresses from the most recent collection (in stores now)…and some pretty styling ideas to go along with them!

All-righty, that’s it for now. Kisses to y’all.
What do you guys think? Would you wear any of these affordable gowns?
You can catch me over on Project Wedding, on our blog, and doing the Twitter thing, the Facebook thing, and the pinning thing. Oh, and we’ve got a ton of bridal fashion here.

I started working in the wedding industry over a decade ago. For several years, I was immersed in bridal fashion—working closely with designers and indulging in the decadence of bridalwear. I joined the Project Wedding team in 2008 and have since fallen in love with the entirety of the creative planning process. I think the most extraordinary wedding celebrations are infused with the unique values and personalities of the bride and groom. Sharing inspiring weddings is the best part of my job. Things I heart: people in love, yoga, 72% dark chocolate, Claire Pettibone wedding dresses, the color orange, and yummy vegetarian food.
