Finally, some new wedding trends that are actually affordable for the average bride! Kate from Project Wedding highlights her fave Watters and Wtoo gowns and, as a bonus, plops them into breathtaking inspiration boards for all of us in need of some spring awakening!

When my dear friend Mrs. Penguin asked me to write up a little fashion post for WB—first, I was totally delighted. Second, I wanted to show off some bridal fashion that isn’t a bazillion dollars. Don’t get me wrong, I (reallllly) love a couture gown just as much as the next girl. But the reality is that most gals are on a budget. With the average wedding budget in the upper $20Ks, that leaves under/around $2,000 for a dress. Enter Watters (or Wtoo, of course). With dresses that are around that price point or below, a bride can slip into a gown that has gorgeous and fashionable written all over it and stay within her budget. Thank goodness! All right…enough gushing about why I’m a fan. Here are three of my favorite dresses from the most recent collection (in stores now)…and some pretty styling ideas to go along with them!

Love these color palette inspiration boards- so pretty! I think with all the capsule collections that designers do these days partnered with low/mid & upper tier priced collections, like Watters & Wtoo, it makes it easier and affordable for anyone to have great, personalized style on their wedding day. A little creativity and you can make your wedding YOURS. There is nothing I dislike more than a cookie-cutter wedding!
Maybe it is just me but my whole budget is five grand including the honeymoon. So while these are beautiful they are still out of our price range for my dress which is $300-$500.
I’m with Vanessa with the $5k budget, and the $500 dress budget. The second dress is beautiful, but still too rich for my blood. Lovely ideas, either way.
