We met in Japan and have been in a LDR for most of our relationship. I love organizing so much that it could be my middle name (Post-Its, anyone?). I have a serious addiction to paper products and milk chocolate. My fiancé totally gets my tomboy-princess-combo personality and will bring me chocolate when I need a pick-me-up. After a legal ceremony in Germany, we're planning a down-to-earth (semi-destination) wedding with our friends and family in the US.

The Bracelet Repair

May 27th, 2012 @ 7:15 am by Mrs. Bracelet

I love my bracelet, but it turned out that the inside security clasp was too loose. I would put the bracelet on, wear it for a few minutes—or seconds—and whoops, it became unhinged and fell off my wrist.

Luckily this was a tiny, insignificant structural problem that was easy to fix. Enter a big tool in my dad’s shed…

…turn the lever a little bit and voila! With just a little squeeze the clasp became tight enough to never, ever unhook on its own again.

PS: I asked. The tool is called a bench vise. I learned something in the process, too.
