Classic is back! We’re seeing more and more loves and bundles of shoes on the more traditional side this year. Could this be the beginning of the end of the colored shoe? We hope not! I’ll wear colored ones. It’s not yet a trend here and everyone frowns on me when I mention I won’t wear white shoes.. In a year everyone will be doiung it here.
It’s definitely here to stay. There will always be brides like me who adore a punch of color. I wore Nine West’s snakeskin kitten heels in various shades of blue as my something blue 6 weeks ago.
I love a colored wedding shoe! I would be wearing a hot pink shoe for the ceremony but I fell in love with a hot pink aisle runner for the church. So I have to settle for hot pink flats for the reception.
I do think it’s a trend on its way out. We’re already seeing less and less colored shoes, especially in editorial and in the blogosphere. Personally, I love a neutral show with some kind of additional jewel element or sparkle. I’m wearing those Valentinos with the bow but in the champagne color- I JUST ordered them and can not wait to get them in. The Choos or say D’orsay Manolos are classic and will never go out of style.
I really love dyed shoes, but think that if I attempted them, I would totally mess them up! I’m personally a HUGE fan of colored shoes, though! That bright pop of color is always so lovely!
