Helllooo, hive! Long time no chat! Life after the wedding has been super busy in the Gazelle household, which has led to a bit of a break in finishing off my recaps. You’ll find out why below! Holy crap! Good luck this weekend! That’s awesome. 1. I threw myself into hosting holiday parties with our new stuff! Then condo-hunting kinda for fun. 2. Same as you- it’s a nice feeling to know for sure that neither of us is going anywhere. Kind of giddy =) 3. eh.. same? 4. We’re getting asked a lot now that we have a house in the ‘burbs. 5. Quiet dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. 6. We cheated a bit- I got him a signed baseball (kinda like paper?) He got me tickets.
Best of luck on the Ironman – you are going to kill it! I am actually happy to have some down time and to be able to clean and organize parts of the house that had been neglected. It’s been fun crafting again and just hanging out with friends and family. I’m surprised people haven’t asked more about the kid situation, but happy not to have to answer it all the time!

Similarly to you (but not nearly as intense), I started training for a half marathon in my post-wedding free time. It’s been a great distraction and good for my health! 
I’ve been wondering about some of these things post wedding. We shall see!

I didn’t throw myself into any particular project post-wedding. I was just so happy to not have to plan anymore!!!
1. I started a direct sales buisiness selling designer jeans for Vault Denim…is fun cause I get to meet lots of women while throwing jean parties, and it give us a little extra money.
2. I dont feel more committed…I was already super committed..but I do feel closer in the sense that he is always there for me and has my back.
3. unfortunatly we have just been so busy and had so many obsticles, he got a new job which is longer hours, he hurt his back, he got sick, my commute schedule, and my kids crazy sport and school schedules that have made the bedroom stuff less frequent…but I am learning quality of quantity!!
4.No be cause we have both been married prior and I have two teenagers and I am quickly approaching 40 so people assume we are so close to being done that we are not gonna start over. which one time in my life I wanted another child, but when i met my husband he had already had that surgery in his prior marriage cause she didnt want kids so I resigned myself to being happy with grandchildren some day and we are enjoying watching my kids grow up and turn into young adults!

1. No void, we just jumped right into baby making so that was an easy distraction.
2. I feel just as connected to him as before, but I like being able to use the term husband.
3. Level of intimacy has been the same
4. Nope, but that’s because I’m already knocked up 
5. We’re taking a trip for our anniversary that is also acting as our babymoon. It will be just us and our dog in a cabin and I can’t wait! We are headed there in a bout 3 weeks.
