Hello bees! We’ve got a fun interactive contest for you today courtesy of The Lab!

You’ve probably noticed how popular inspiration boards are (and maybe you even know how much fun they are to make!). So how do you like the idea of seeing an inspiration board you created brought to life BEFORE your wedding day? It’s a great way to see all your ideas come together and to get a professional spin on them.

The Lab 2013 is bringing YOUR inspiration board to life! See your wedding before it happens, created by uber talented Northern California wedding vendors! Here’s what you need to do:

1. Create a Pinterest board.
2. Name your board and include The Lab 2013. (example: Toasted Marshmallow | The Lab 2013)
3. Pin away! Create your dream wedding profile with at least 10 images.
4. On the description of each image copy the following: “#Weddingbee for #TheLab2013: http://ht.ly/cYt6T”
5. Once you are done creating a rockin’ board, comment a link to it here in this blog post.
6. Make sure you comment with a link to your board no later than August 24th at 11:59 PM PST.

That’s it! The gals at The Lab will sift through all the boards and choose their favorites. We will be announcing the winning boards on August 27th!

The Lab is a handpicked collection of some of the top trendsetting wedding industry professionals Northern California has to offer. It’s designed to be an experience for couples seeking vendors, inspiration, and style definition for their wedding day. The Lab won’t have typical vendor booths or salespeople. Instead, in a laid-back setting, couples will experience inspiration boards brought to life, sips and bites from some of the best caterers, sweet and treats from top dessert designers, a vendor library, a nontraditional runway show, and one heck of a party to round out the night. So much wedding goodness and fun packed into one event! The Lab Event will take place on January 12, 2013.
