The Rainbow Connection: Couples Portraits

As I said before, this series of pictures is my favorite of the day. Our photographer pretty much said walk around and have fun. So, we did!

cp1

We walked up to the boardwalk so we could get the contrast of the wood against the green of the trees. We actually spend a lot of time at this park, so it was really special to have our reception there and get so many pictures taken as well. First we did the obligatory picture of our shoes. And I still love my shoes, even though they were SO uncomfortable. My feet were killing me by the time I walked down the aisle, and they didn’t stay on long during the reception.

cp2

We did some cute kissy pictures that I like. Although, I think it kinda looks like I have a John Waters mustache in this one, I still like it.

cp3

This is me showing off the skirt and twirling like a toddler. I love this one. I think it shows off an almost scandalous amount of leg, but it’s still tasteful and pretty.

cp5

We talked a lot through all of this about our morning and the day in general. I was finally convinced everything would work out and was able to relax and be happy that we were getting married.

cp6

There were more smooches. I remember being nervous about sitting on this bench because I didn’t want to get the back of my dress dirty since everyone would have to look at it during the entire ceremony. My photographer even had a little pad for me to sit on, but it still kinda freaked me out.

cp7

This is in front of the actual building where we had the reception. I just love the composition of this shot! And the scallops on my dress look really nice here. And my arms don’t look fat! A win on all counts!

cp8

Then, we did some solo pics. This isn’t the best picture of me in the world, but this is one of the few pictures where you can see my necklace.

cp9

Mr. Cannon got some solo pics as well. Here he is looking a bit too serious.

cp4

And, one last boardwalk picture. It looks like we’re in the rain forest or something. Toledo brides, take pictures at Wildwood! That’s an order!

After those pictures were done, we wandered back over to the reception hall where the rest of the bridal party was hanging out. Since we had plenty of time before the wedding, we took pictures with them next!

These are some great shots! You both look so relaxed and comfortable. Boo to uncomfortable shoes though – what we brides go through to look good! ha ha

    Fan pics.
I love that you are wearing heels even though he’s shorter.
My husband is 3-4 inches shorter than me. I wore flats most of the day. I put on my pretty yellow heels at the reception after most of the photos
You two really look wonderful. I love the pink peaking out under your dress.
