(Finally) Introducing Our Newest Generation: Endangered Species!

The journey to our latest batch of blogger icons was a long and arduous one. We searched high and low for an artist who could really create icons that we knew you’d go gaga over. Little did we know, the artist we were looking for was there in our own backyard, all along!

We’re so excited our latest bee blogger generation: Endangered Species, created by no other than our own Mrs. Bunting! I met up with Mrs. Bunting in Chicago earlier this year and lamented that we were on the hunt for an icon artist that could capture the spirit of Weddingbee, and, to be blunt, make REALLY FREAKIN’ CUTE icons. She wanted to take a stab at it, and a couple months later…

We’re so thrilled to debut Mrs. Bunting’s first generation of Weddingbee icons! She’s not only one of our beloved bees, but the artist extraordinaire behind her own business, Lullafly. To learn more about her for now, check out her bio on our About the Site page! We’ll run a more in-depth feature on her next week and pick her brain to find out how she came up with this latest batch of icons!

We’re introducing our first bee from this generation later today, so stay tuned! If you’re a fun, creative, and stylish blogging bride and want to join us (and snag one of these adorable icons!), check out our application guidelines to apply to blog with us! We’re currently accepting applications from brides getting married through May 2013.

What do you think, bees? If you had to choose just one, which would you choose?

I love the Gray Wolf (I’ve got a SUPER soft spot for puppies!) and the Squirrel! But I’m pretty positive I’d pick Miss Squirrel if i were to become a blogger bee (I think my wedding is a little TOO close now though, barely 2 months away!) because me and FH’s names both start with S, so I’d be able to call him Mr. S just like he really is! Plus there was this traumatic experience with a squirrel that he shot and has forever lingered in my dad’s office sink… But that wouldn’t be the reason of course. The lil squirrel is just so cute!

I can’t believe no one is excited about the bat because then you could call your fiance BATMAN!

    Just saying…

Wow super cute! I would choose either the wallaby as a cry to my Aussie back ground or the panda!

OMGGGGGGGGGG. I want to be the Squirrel so bad. And the Buffalo. Do you want a married blogger recapping her wedding? Haha.
