About Mrs. Penguin

The journey to our latest batch of blogger icons was a long and arduous one. We searched high and low for an artist who could really create icons that we knew you’d go gaga over. Little did we know, the artist we were looking for was there in our own backyard, all along!

We’re so excited our latest bee blogger generation: Endangered Species, created by no other than our own Mrs. Bunting! I met up with Mrs. Bunting in Chicago earlier this year and lamented that we were on the hunt for an icon artist that could capture the spirit of Weddingbee, and, to be blunt, make REALLY FREAKIN’ CUTE icons. She wanted to take a stab at it, and a couple months later…

(Finally) Introducing Our Newest Generation: Endangered Species! : wedding announcements Endangered Animals endangered_animals

We’re so thrilled to debut Mrs. Bunting’s first generation of Weddingbee icons! She’s not only one of our beloved bees, but the artist extraordinaire behind her own business, Lullafly. To learn more about her for now, check out her bio on our About the Site page! We’ll run a more in-depth feature on her next week and pick her brain to find out how she came up with this latest batch of icons!

We’re introducing our first bee from this generation later today, so stay tuned! If you’re a fun, creative, and stylish blogging bride and want to join us (and snag one of these adorable icons!), check out our application guidelines to apply to blog with us! We’re currently accepting applications from brides getting married through May 2013.

What do you think, bees? If you had to choose just one, which would you choose?
