Unfortunately, given our schedule, Cari started everyone else’s hair and make up about an hour and a half before our photographers arrived, so I apologize in advance for the surplus of photos of me.
When it was my turn in the hot seat, I was amazed at the amount of brushes laid out before me.

Meanwhile, MOH Sassy was a rock star juggling phones and giving directions, as well as checking up on the guys to make sure they were on schedule.

Details were captured like our rings, my grandmother’s pearls, my perfume—which I wish I could wear more than on just special occasions, and my shoes that took forever to find.



Cari teased and curled, and curled some more.


While I waited and waited, trying not to let my nerves show.



After a final shot of hairspray, it was time for the veil.


After lashes and lips, I was well on my way to becoming a bride.
