Woohoo! Or should I say”¦AAOOUUUUUUUUUUUU!
OK, kind of a lame attempt at a wolf’s howl, but I am just so excited to be Miss Gray Wolf! I started shaking when I got the email from Mrs. Penguin and shouted “I’M A BEE!” into my entire area of cubicles. Considering it was mostly dudes”¦I’m pretty sure they thought I was nuts. Or singing a Black Eyed Peas song.
Still got this picture for posterity”¦
This isn’t my first time appearing on Weddingbee—I’ve actually made some cameos in Mrs. Sparkler’s posts! But, I’m so happy to be able to tell the story of the wolf pack—me, Miss Gray Wolf, Wolfman (that’s Mr. Gray Wolf!), and our little cub (OK, French bulldog), Tonks:
We’re both from small towns—I’m from Virginia, he’s from Ohio—and it took a very random, chance meeting five years ago to bring us together. After only a few months, we moved in together and it’s been an adventure ever since.
When we’re not traveling the world, I do business development at a software company. My passion, however, is with museums. I just earned my master’s degree in museum studies, and spend a lot of time volunteering with the Smithsonian—a perk of being in DC! He’s a research scientist (read: computer geek) for a local non-profit. Together, we have a healthy appetite for all things pop culture—movies, TV, books, and music. We’re looking forward to incorporating our many likes and some DC charm into our February nuptials—and sharing those details with the hive!
