About Mrs. Scepter

My PWC

October 10th, 2012 @ 2:31 pm by Mrs. Scepter

Since I was 14 years old I have let my hair grow in cycles. I let it grow until it is super long, (and I can’t stand the maintenance anymore) and then I chop it all off. When Mr. Scepter proposed I was pretty close to the “chopping it all off stage,” but I decided to put off the chop so I would have more options for wedding hair.

Once beautiful wedding hair had been accomplished, it was time to make my everyday hair easier to take care of. Two weeks after our wedding, I sat down in my stylist’s chair and went from this:

My PWC : wedding amarillo hair Pwc

To this:

My PWC : wedding amarillo hair Pwc2

After a year and a half of growing my hair out, I was ecstatic to have shorter hair back. (Especially during the horrible heat of a Texas August.)

How long did you wait to get your PWC?

I’ve been growing mine out since the proposal as well, last July during our lovely TX drought! I usually have a pixi cut so I’m thinking of going to a salon the week after the wedding for the PWC. Love your after hair! I totally understand short hair in our climate.

My true PWC took almost a year! Blame it on indecision.

Beautiful!
I think I am the opposite! I’ve had my hair cut three times since the proposal; the latest just the other day! Now I have a chin-length bob. I still have a year until we get married though, so I’m confident it’ll grow enough to do something with come wedding day.

1 year and a couple of weeks (appt is on Saturday!)

I just kept it long as I hadn’t had it long since elementary school and wanted to have it for a while. I’m ready to lose the length finally.

Such a cute cut!

Ugh, I’ve been growing mine out for about 2-3 years! We knew we’d be getting married after college and it just took a little longer. Plus my hair grows soooo slow. I will be chopping it to about shoulder length around Christmas! I love braids and stuff but I also hate waking up to maintain it lol.
