Hive! I almost started to write about our musical selection for our ceremony, when I realized—I’ve never talked about where McGlovin and I are getting married! So…
I was born and raised Catholic, went to a Catholic school, and, although I don’t always agree with everything the Church says, I actually really like going to mass—no matter where I am in the world, it makes me feel like I’m at home. 
Any cheesiness aside, the first thing I do when I’m somewhere new for any length of time is find a church to attend. When I moved to Columbus a few years ago, I tried out a few and ended up liking the Cathedral best. When McGlovin proposed, it was a foregone conclusion that we would get married here (where we live) rather than in my hometown, and I knew that the Cathedral is where I wanted to get married. What a beautiful church! As another Catholic Bee I will be starting Pre-Cana on Monday. Eek. My church isn’t nearly as grand as this one, but it is where I have gone my whole life.

That place is AMAZINGLY beautiful! I just showed my FI and he is super jealous lol! We aren’t getting married at a church because we want an outside ceremony, but if we had a church that was as beautiful as that, we would!

First time round I was married in a very pretty church (my hometown one)… and the pics came out lovely… no regrets.
Indoor religious weddings in Churches / Cathedrals / Synagogues / Temples can be so beautiful, with their intricate decor that showcases the regal handiwork of stone masons, wood carvers, glass makers etc

Mr TTR and I will be marrying on a Beach under a palm tree. I like to think of it as “God’s Outdoor Cathedral”… with the majesty of the Ocean as the backdrop. Hopefully the pics will do it justice.
