The following is 30-something photos out of the 248 we received. That was my best effort at narrowing it down. I’ve also managed to narrow that down to 25 I want printed. The problem is I want them GIANT to hang in our room…so I can only choose three or so, theoretically. That’s going to be a problem. But moving on…
Shooting with Valerie was SO FUN. It was just like an adventure around town, especially when we had to kick people out of the spot where Mr. Otter proposed, haha. Unlike me, Mr. Otter isn’t all about photos, so I was surprised to see he actually had a fun time when we were shooting. It was also fun for me to get to see Valerie’s engagement ring in person since she is freshly engaged!
We had a great couple of hours with her, the photos are beautiful, and I am 100% confident that we couldn’t have chosen anyone better to photograph our wedding day. And rehearsal. And maybe the shower, though I haven’t actually booked that one yet…

OMG I love these. And I’m using them as my inspiration since I’m taking engagement pics on Thursday… I can already imagine having to choose a few to blow up (since I want LARGE ones too for our house) so my favorite are:
The one with the red wall
The black and white photo of you sitting in front of the brick wall (this one is my fav- you two look so happy and genuine)

Those are lovely! And based on the poses you have, I’d say either you or your photographer has seen some of the same inspiration photos I used for my engagement shoot! LOVE!

ScottishMrs: We actually made a joint Pinterest board, so she could see my ideas, and then she of course posed us as well! It ended up working wonderfully for us
Mrs. Pony & Miss Toadstool: The quilt was a great idea by Valerie! She happened to buy it the weekend prior and have it in her car. They are some of my favorites so I’m so glad that she is so creative!

Okay, I dont usually say this, but, you guys are the cutest couple ever! I feel like your photographer was able to capture a lot of personality in your photos. Congratulations
Can I just say that I ADORE that you are wearing a clearly well-loved pair of Rainbow flip-flops in so many of these photos? You must be a California girl at heart.

There are so many great locations! My favorites are the field ones. I may be a bit partial since that’s what we were originally planning to do AND you used a wedding band pattern quilt (also what I wanted to do). You two are so cute!
These are all so natural…I love how real these photos are.

I love them all, they are all so fun and sweet. You two photograph very well. I wouldn’t be able to choose either, but maybe the one with the love sigh, the first sitting in the grass, and the shot of your hands or the the one with the wall as a background.
