While the girls’ room was abuzz with activity, the men relaxed. They had an easy morning, watching a TV show, playing a round of Bang!, and starting to get dressed. BM B came up to our room to get some bagels and coffee, and made a few more trips and phone calls during the day to make sure we were all in sync with the day’s pace and timing.

While the girls were waiting for me to get dressed, the guys had a chance to take some pictures, get their bouts adjusted, and of course toast the groom.

As it turns out, Mr. G couldn’t figure out the right time to open the gift, even though I asked both the second photographer and BM B to have him open it while she was there. He tends to be private, so he may not have figured out that he was supposed to open it publicly. He also didn’t write me a letter since he couldn’t find a private, quiet time in the morning to do it. He later opened the present when it was just the two of us, a story for a later post.
By the time I found out there was no letter, I didn’t really care because it was so close to first-look time and the only thing standing between me and Mr. G was a dress!

@Mrs. Pony: I agree, the getting ready pictures of the men are always soooo much more relaxed looking. Jealous!
I agree with Pony! The guys always seem to have is so easy. No early morning wake-up, hours in the chair for hair and make-up or an awkward white dress. Although, they do have lots of time on their hands to think about what they’re about to do, freak out and try not to misbehave/drink too much.
Oh the fellows look so quiet and relaxed! I agree with above, they have it so much more easy than the girls!
