Mr. D and I didn’t want a whole lot of formals. We did want some so that we could get some framed for our families, but aside from those we wanted to focus on the more spontaneous pictures of the day. We only set aside about half an hour for the formal photos, and it was more than enough time to get them done before the final moments of relaxing before the ceremony. I know that formals are not the most exciting, so I’m only including a few of my faves.
We began with a couple of solo pictures of me:

Moved onto some couple ones:

Then our families:

Mr. D’s mother (once again, I promise his mother was happy about our getting married), Mr. D’s father, Mr. D, and Mr. D’s older brother.
Then my family:

Top Row: My stepfather, my mother, myself, my younger brother B, My sister BM A
Bottom Row: My stepbrother A and my stepsister J (She was a junior bridesmaid)
My mother and I had a few more special moments:

And then we moved to have some more formals with other members of my family:

My beloved grandmother and me

My grandmother, myself, Brother B, and Sister BM A
And, of course, the dignified positions of formals only lasted so long, and my sister and I started to goof off, making it obvious the formal portion of our photos were over:

All photos are from An Unforgettable Memory Photography.
Up Next: The calm before the storm—AKA…We take a break and goof off before the ceremony.
