There was a half-hour limo ride over to our first-look location. Let’s just say it was full of the sillies with my girls, but I was still in a contemplative place and getting extra nervous about seeing Mr. Genie. And sitting in a limo with fairly low seats isn’t the most comfortable in a wedding dress, FYI. It was nice to have the girls help me laugh, especially when they were trying to hold in tears, too. We’re all criers!
Sara had shot a first look at a park right across from Wayfarers for her first Wayfarers wedding. Overlooking the ocean, and just minutes away from Wayfarers, it was the perfect location for our pre-ceremony photos. Sara even got them to keep the park open just for us to take pictures!
All photos are by onelove photography.
When we pulled up in the limo, Mr. Genie was already in place way out in the distance, and I got the shivers.

Sara had MOH Wino come with me to help manage my train and gave us directions for the big moment.

What you don’t see in most of these pictures is how I burst into tears the moment that I saw Mr. Genie’s face. He was very sweet and seemed very happy to see me. And he said he loved my dress! He also tried to distract me so I could stop crying. But it took a while.

My recommendation is to bring tissues to your first look!
