There is much talk out there about bridal hairstyles or post-wedding cuts (fondly abbreviated PWC by many) but not much about grooms’ hairstyles. I suppose that most grooms just go to their barbershop shortly before the wedding and get their usual cut to look fresh on their wedding day.

But what about bald (or nearly bald; or bald by choice) grooms?
They get even less limelight than the average groom, partly because most males still have hair in their 20 and 30s. Mr. Bracelet sadly has the genes for premature balding and has been rocking a shaved head since his early 20s. Think Bruce Willis.

I want to give all the bald grooms a little shout out in this post and show them some love. Each time that I saw a wedding with a bald groom featured on a blog, I took note of it. “Look, there’s a groom that (kind of) looks like mine!”

Does anyone else have a bald groom, or groom with a non-standard hair issue?

My FI is bald with a beard, and I think it’s sexy! He plans on making sure his head is as hair-free as possible, and promised me he wouldn’t rock a lumberjack beard.
My husband has shoulder length dark brown hair that is so luxurious, any girl would kill for it 
We had a lot of people disprove of him not cutting his hair for the big day, but in the end, who cares? He looked great (even if a little wind-blown).
@Jesij1212: My man’s hairy too! He decided to grow it out shortly after we started dating, and it’s now shoulder-length curls. We assumed he’d have gone bald by his mid-20s because his dad did, but it’s still going strong!
I have a bald groom too & I love it! He shaves his head completely and has a clean beard and mustache thing going on. I like it just like that, if he shaves all of his hair off he looks like a little kid lol
My fiance’s hair goes most of the way down his back. It’s longer than mine (and I have very long hair). He’s also got a fantastic red beard. He’ll be wearing it down for the wedding. I think he’s going to trim it a bit to even it out, but that’s about it.
My FI is a sexy (almost) bald man that rocks an awesome beard and stach. He plans to bic his head the day of our wedding and trim down the face. I love it when he goes lumber jack with the beard!
Mr. Mink is bald and I can’t imagine him with hair. I think he’s cute as is!

LOVE THIS POST! Mr. Sword is going bald and way too young in my opinion but he keeps his hair buzzed pretty short and he looks great! I wouldn’t have him any other way! We are currently trying to figure out if he should rock facial on the wedding day or not…
My daughter’s FI is already quite bald at the ripe old age of 23, and rocks a shaved head with the best of them. I love that look, although it’s easier to come by in guys my own age (early 50′s.) Your groom will look great in photos- can’t wait to see your recaps!
We got married two weeks ago, and my husband has beautiful hair just past his shoulders. I think it killed his mother a little bit that he didn’t get a big cut, but I couldn’t have pictured him any other way! Fun post:)

my FI usually has super super short hair. not bald, but super short military style buzz cut. it’s longer now cause he can’t find a barber he likes. but it’s usually reallllly short. at the beginning, i hated it. i liked it when he let it grow out a bit. but now, i like the short.
My FI has been shaving his head since he was 21 and I LOVE it. He’s becoming follicularly challenged and a nice smooth head is much better than hair all gunked up with gel to try and cover up the thin patches.
My guy has been going gray since his early 20′s. He has no interest in dying it. When he sees people he hasn’t seen in a while, they are always surprised to see the grays coming in, but I think he looks distinguished!
Mr H is a baldie. Well, nearly bald, so he had a buzzcut. For me, it’s just how he is, so I hadn’t thought about it much. That being said, it was nice to see this little ode to baldies on here

My guy is bald- I never even knew him with hair. He has a good head for it- and I love it! I really admire guys that take the plunge and don’t sadly cling to a few strands… Or worse, a combover!
